More than two weeks ago, I sent an email to Paul Wheaton and asked him to remove my email address from his book promotion mailing list. Two weeks late, I still receive a book promotion email from this. Paul please remove my email address from your mailing list.

There is no "list", there is just a setting in your profile. There is a radiobutton which asks whether JavaRanch may send you occasional promotional emails. Yours is currently set to "Yes". Set it to "No", and the emails will stop. Start at the link at the top of each page of the forum that says "My Profile". It's the first link in the "Preferences" section.

Also, there is no need to email the trail boss. We actually monitor the account the email is sent from -- this is for those people who abandoned their coderanch account, and / or just don't want to do it the easy way.

I've unsubscribed you by changing the setting for you. Which is what I would have done had you simply replied to the email with the word "unsubscribe."
