i have a homework to draw a circle, triangle, oval, hexagon, pentagon, octagon, square in java netbeans
but i have no idea how to use there functions or librarys please can you give me good links that can get me started

I trust you are familiar with the Java Tutorials. There will be a section about what you need. Also look at the methods of the Graphics and Graphics2D classes.
