Hi Amritendu,

I took the very first version of the Architect exam. I know that since then Java EE has changed its contents, but in terms of the content of the exam, what has changed the most in what I need to know, so I can focus on those things? Thanks.

The previours exam concentrated on EJB mainly. The Java EE 5 version tests skills like applicability of different Java EE technologies. The sections on Patterns, Security, Common Arch remains almost same. The new business tier and web tier sections along with section on application design is different. If you have seen Java from its inception, you have an advantage.

The part 2 has risks and mitigation list as new additions. Essay exam remains the same.
