I mentor the programmers on a local robotics team. We had the NYC regional competition ending today and won! So excited. The robot didn't do well yesterday. The kids fixed the problems yesterday evening and fielded a great robot today.
If you live in a city with a regional or district event , I recommend you check it out in person. It's a great atmosphere and is great to see.
Our robot. (Match videos aren't up yet)

Congrats!
A good buddy of mine mentors a team out of Charlotte NC. They went to their first regional last weekend, and had a few problems with updates to software that were NOT fully tested, and changes to features that were not communicated to the users (aka drivers). Obviously, a real world learning experience for software engineers.

Great, congratulations!
I'm sure it's a lot of fun to work with a team of people on those robots.

Video is up. Here's a good match to watch. That page links to finals as well. I found the semis to be more dramatic because we were up against the top ranked alliance. The team I mentor fielded #694 - the white box looking one.
Note with 30 seconds left we got all 4 in quickly.

The team didn't take those this year. There are a couple of videos while testing desiree (the robot) though
