What features in Java 7 would distinguish a 'Beginning Java 7' book from a 'Beginning Java 5 ' book ?
Would you say there is a fundamental difference ,for a beginner , between the two ?
I wrote this book to explore the Java language and key APIs (e.g., Collections). I carefully wove Java 7 language features (e.g., try-with-resources) and Java 7 APIs (e.g., JXLayer) throughout the book. It is the presence of Java 7 content that distinguishes Beginning Java 7 from a Beginning Java 6 book.
