Hi All,
I am coming with a wierd but important request. I want to open a jsp(Audit.jsp) from server side when the user clicks on the Audit link. But I want that it should open in a pop up. And to be more specific it should not be a pop-up it should be a modal window.
I am using IE.
Please note I have already done this using window.open and I want to do the same with modal window but somehow I am not able to do this.
Here is the code sample which I am using right now.

You should not be using obsolete concepts like showModalDialog(). Use more modern dialog implementations such as jQuery UI or Bootstrap dialogs.

See http://tjvantoll.com/2012/05/02/showmodaldialog-what-it-is-and-why-you-should-never-use-it/
