Choose all that apply / choose x

Hello,

These questions are really directed at people who have taken the SCJP 1.6 exam (I'm taking mine on Thursday) and have also done the LearnKey mocks that come with the SCJP study guide and CertPal questions.

1. When detailing an answer, the CertPal mocks I've done tend to tell you how many answers should be selected, e.g. "Choose 1". The SCJP mocks only ever seem to say "Choose all that apply". Out of curiousity, what does it do for the real exam?

2. In comparison to the real exam, how do the complexity of the questions compare to the CertPal and SCJP mock tests? It's hard to know whether a good score would be a pass in the real exam, especially as the mocks all seem to be 70-72 questions over 3.5hrs - whereas the real exam is 60 over 2.5hrs...

Thanks.
Adam.

In the actual exam, each question tells you how many options you must select.

Although not related to CertPal mock exams, but this comparison of scores between Enthuware JQ+ V6 and the real exam might be of some help.

HTH,
Paul.

Thanks Paul and thanks for the link, but I'm not really sure what that tells me...

Has anyone else with the experience of doing the Certpal/SCJP mocks and the real SCJP exam got a feel as to how the mocks equate in terms of the difficulty level when compared with the real exam?

Just wanted to thank this board and JavaRanch in general for all their help over the last few months - I passed my 1.6 exam today - woo-hoo! :-)
