Open source platform for CMS of an educational website using java

Hi Experts ! I want to develop a website and the CMS(Content Management System) for that, I want to build using java technology.
So please guide me any efficient open source tool(framework) to build the complete system.
/and what technology should I use there like struts or spring or simple Servlet/JSP...

Please help friends...

"CMS" is an incredibly broad term. Start by nailing down the requirements for it, and then see if something doesn't exist already that covers all that you need, like the ones listed at http://java-source.net/open-source/content-managment-systems.

Also, since you posted in the "Portals & Portlets" forum, a portal is something different than a CMS-powered web site. Many portals serve up up CMS content, though. Check out http://java-source.net/open-source/portals to see what is available.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
