Grade Calculation program

I need to write a program that calculates grades for homework,i get midway in it and check the compiler to see if i got errors and i get an "ilegal start of type next to my first if,this is what i wrote so far:can anyone please help?

It's hard to offer any suggestions,since your code has a lot of errors.am not sure am allowed to tell you the answer,but there is a lot you need to correct in you code...use Netbeans or Eclipse,they will help you identify the causes of the errors

First, make sure your variables match. For example, declaring a variable FlyingPenguin and than later referencing it by PenguinThatFlies doesn't work. Also, Java is case-sensitive, so watch out for that. There are a lot more errors that look like they might by typos, but I recommend using something like eclipse, which spots your errors for you.
