We have an existing web application which uses struts and servlets but we are planning to revamp it using Spring framework.
How would Tapestry fit into this scenario? Do we have to replace all the existing work or build upon it? Would it support some Ajax or Flex based UI interface work?

I believe Tapestry is a component-based framework (as I learnt from another post) for building java based web applications, so it should support AJAX and Flex.

Support for RIA style applications have nothing to do with whether or not a framework is component oriented or action based. Either style will do.
