I've connected my database to netbeans and it automatically generated some code for me. This is one of the files of code it created.

I want to use the database information to make array objects but I dont know where to go from there so that i can assign variables or even get the results of some of the functions in the automated code. Can someone please explain how I go about doing this please?

This is what I could understand from your question:

You have a table in the database which stores all the information related to students. You want to retrieve that information and then do what exactly? Could you explain the exact objective you are trying to accomplish?

Stop using automated code generation. Start with a JDBC tutorial; there is a nice one here.

And I shall move this discussion to our databases forum.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
