Good day,

I have a program which running a batch file via cmd console and ProcessBuilder class being call to finish the task. the batch file path was hard coded as final String.(ie:c:/temp/myprocess.bat)

my question is, what could be the possibility that this program could run in Tomcat but not the case of jboss, both server are running the same war file in same machine.

Thanks ahead!!

What version of JBoss AS?
How are you starting JBoss AS and how are you starting Tomcat?
Exactly how are you attempting to launch the batch file (show your code!).
And you do know that firing off a batch file from a web app is a very bad idea, right?
