Hi everyone,

I have this C project written in GCC,and linux ubuntu. I have installed netbeans and installed the GNU debugger(gmake, gcc, ..). I have tested to create compile and debugg a sample C project and it was working fine. Now my problem is: when I want to open My own project it does not recognize the folder as a project folder. it keeps opening it till it reach the actual .c files. Somehow Netbean doesn't recognize it as a project folder. what are the reasons for this? and how can I solve it?

Thank you so much.
sahar

ps. the reason I post it here is because it is not related to C but rather is a Netbeans question.

If you created and set up an empty project with the IDE and then populated it with the existing sources?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
