HSQLDB Beginning

I have hsqldb-1.8.0.7.jar with me, is it enough for me to start constructing and using database ? How do I achieve this ? Any initial setup-guides/pointers/links. Unfortunately I have nothing else other than the jar and neither can I download anything else. Thanks!

However I don't find this driver class....

Class.forName("org.hsqldb.jdbc.JDBCDriver" );

Thanks Paul, I got the class in another jar "hsqldb-2.0.0.jar". However my first program is yet to be executed.


On doing

I get the UI opened and there if I do select * from customer I get around 50 rows returned. But the same in above code doesnt work. on line 6 I get an

java.sql.SQLException: user lacks privilege or object not found: CUSTOMER



My Server start up sequence was as follows


I am on eclipse and have this hsqldb-2.0.0.jar added on build path. Any help? Thanks!
