Hello all,

I am developing an application in which i have to transfer files over the internet, i.e. from PC A to PC B.

Issue i am facing is that i only have the credentials for the PC B and I cant run any application on it. So i guess Sockets are something that i am not looking for.
I want some API using which i can run my application on PC A and then provide the credentials for PC B and the path of the folder where i want to copy the files.

Any suggestions for what i am looking for here?

Thanks in advance.

Possibly jCIFS, assuming that an SMB share has been set up on the remote machine.

So it will connect to shared folder just like we do with Windows Explorer? It must be Windows specific, right?

SMB is baked into Windows, but can be used on other OSes as well. That's what the Samba server is all about. jCIFS is merely the client library.

Did it work for you? Can you provide simple example of how you solve the problem.
