hi Please mention how to define page directive in .tag files for implementing cusom tags.

same answer here as in the other thread: a Tag file is not a page (JSP).

A Tag file is generated into a SimpleTag by the container, and the SimpleTag (representing your Tag file) can be used in a JSP.

Thanks for your response. I understand that page directive we can't define in tag files.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
