I bought the study guide through Amazon back in September, I believe. I found out that since I bought that book a second version of the book has been released. At first I thought it was probably a version to fix errata that was discussed on Amazon. I just realized that 2 chapters have been added to the second version. Thus, my mess. Obviously, the authors thought it necessary to add these chapters or they wouldn't have added them. I'm guessing I'm buying the 2nd version here because I'm assuming that some of the errata in version 1 was fixed in version 2. Any comments, opinions would be appreciated.
EDIT: I see from Amazon that I ordered the book on October 31. That seems like I got ripped if it was released September. I guess Amazon is late sometimes in getting the latest book out.
EDIT: My unique access code is not in inside flap of the CD holder at the back of the book. I can't swear that it wasn't there but I know that I wouldn't have take it off. If it was there it fell off.
Case closed: I get version 2.
Anyone getting this book should check the ISBN number in the book to verify it's version 1: 978-0-07-178941-7
The ISBN for version 2: 978-0071789424 (number taken from Amazon website)
If you received version 1 I would suggest calling Amazon. They are pretty good about returns.
