Just bought this book and I must tell I'm really satisfied! So far so good Good job!
I post here to not open a new topic as this is quite a side question.
I'd like to know which tool/add-in the author has used for UML diagrams.
I'd really appreciate it as I would like to draw some of them by myself for my learning method.
Thanks a lot.

If you are using it just for learning purposes, why not just draw them by hand?

It's indeed what I've already started to do going through first 2 chapters.
My question was mainly, let me say curiosity, as I have not yet found an easy to use software to do that (tried latest Violet but it's like I'm missing something as I'm not able to draw many shapes...)
Thanks

Maybe you can opt for something like yUML.

I purchased and read through your guide. Compared to other Java books, I found it clear, concise and superior.

May I suggest that you consider writing a Java text?

There appears to be a void of well-organised, up-to-date and understandable Java educational texts.
