Coming off a recent feature of Bear's jQuery in Action, I would like to know if Wicket in Action gets into integration between these two very appealing libraries...?

JQuery integration is not one of the core-projects. We tried to limit the size of the book by limiting us to the core projects, and we even couldn't discuss that to the extent we'd like. I've always learned that good writing means knowing where to cut. This holds for movies and for tech books IMO.

That said, there is a wicket-jquery integration project over at wicket-stuff and its examples

And the rich components chapter will address how you can add JavaScript to your own components which would also include jquery.

Sadly (Well, sometimes sadly ), that's quite true. Otherwise, books would never get finished!

Thanks for the pointers and info on where to look in the book for the fundamentals.
