Hi mikali,

What do you mean by difficult code?
do you want to just copy the code from a book?

You learn to solve hard problems by practice experience and thought. And there is no difference; you solve a problem in C exactly the same way you would in any procedural language and you solve a problem in Java exactly the same way as for any object language.
It is difficult to suggest a book. You might want a book about algorithms. Abelson and Sussman is about creating algorithms in Scheme, which is relted to LISP. Code Complete by McConnell is about the process of constructing applications. Howard and LeBlanc and others have written several books about securing software. I do not actually know which book would best suit your needs. You could start by googling for Niklaus Wirth Algorithms because you can download that book free of charge.

That is a useful list on SO, but it does not recommend any book. I think the requirements in this thread are inconsistent: a beginner who wants to write difficult programs.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
