Maven plugin to get module result

For every run, I need a way to output every module and its result to an xml file. What is the best way to do this? Are there existing Maven plug-ins to do this? If not, is there any code that may be altered to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let me see if I understand what you are asking. You have a master POM with several submodules. When you do a build, you would like the output for each submodule to go into a different file, and you want that file to be in XML format. Is that correct, or am I completely misunderstanding your question?

I don't understand the XML part of your question. What is it that you think would go into the XML file?

Also, what is the difference between the "output of a module" and a "result"? By "output of a module" do you mean the text that is printed on the console as the build progresses? By "result" do you mean the artifact that is being built?
