Class PathXml ApplicationContext

I have a standalone application using eclipse and spring 2.0,If I use

ApplicationContext ctx = new

It says File not found.

where I should place the applicationcontext.xml file or
is there any way to specify the class path?

Try this

Place the applicationcontext.xml, anywhere in your classpath.
