Hi all,
Any guide/tutorial on how to write Firefox plugin or add-on ?
Whats the difference between plugin and add-on ?
Is there any Java API for making add-on ?

Add-ons is a higher level term. With respect to Firefox it encompasses plugins, extensions and themes.

If you want to use Java you're probably out of luck. Extensions are written in JavaScript, and plugins in C/C++.

Thanks. I am going through their tutorial . Wdigets are written in XUL, thier own language like XML. Javascript and CSS are also needed.

A plugin is used to incorporate third-party programs into the program session.
An addon improves the appearance or extends the functionality and becomes part of the program. Addons include extensions and themes.
