INvalid XML character error

Hi,

i am creating pdf using xml,getting error The character is an invalid XML character.its showing a "right arrow" as special character in log error.

anybody know which combination of special character is making arrow or how to skip this.

When I see that error I immediately wonder if the XML document was edited at some point with MS Word and you are hitting "smart punctuation" characters.

A programmer's editor that can display in HEX is a great tool for debugging this sort of thing. The displayed "right arrow" may have little to do with the actual character.
