Dan, I've been wondering about this for a little while and have not found a good answer to the questions of how or if it's even possible to do multiple Seam war apps inside of the same ear.
I know if you just dump the standard seam-gen web.xml into two wars then the Seam startup complains (warnings) that it was started twice and should only be done once. What is the best to accomplish this?
I have to be honest with you that while I have followed that discussion, I have not had the inclination to sit down and try to solve it. The magic, of course, is in the packaging. EAR packaging is a pain, which is why I always default to using WAR. But obviously, if you need the interaction between web apps, then EAR is what you need.
He is probably totally overloaded, but the man for this job is Jay Balunas. He is the interop and packaging guru of Seam and if it can be done, he can figure it out. [ August 07, 2008: Message edited by: Dan Allen ]
