The long awaited version of Aspose.Slides for Java (7.4.0) has been released. In this release, we have included support for adding ActiveX controls from scratch . For more details about this feature, read this article about adding ActiveX controls. We have also improved the chart support in this release. Many presentation rendering issues and chart rendering issues have also been addressed. This release also adds support for an exception message when using a non-standard locale. Some important new feature improved features and bug fixes as given below

- Support for adding ActiveX controls from scratch
- Improve PDF export speed by using System.Drawing.Imaging.Metafile class from MS library
- API Documentation improvement: Slides.size() should be properly documented
- The category axis label text is rendered in two lines instead of one is now fixed
- Wrong title rendering in chart is fixed
- Chart labels missing is resolved
- Exception on using non "en-CH" locale is fixed
- Cloning of slides return wrong slide count is now fixed
- The pie chart labels overlap each other in generated PDF is now fixed
- The Clustered Column chart Category axis labels overlaps each other in generated PDF is now fixed
- Chart legends highlight dotted line as solid in generated PDF
- Category and value axis are cropped in generated PDF is fixed
- The chart title cropping is fixed in generated PDF
- Chart legends border line missing in generated PDF is fixed
- Aspose.Slides now properly working when Aspose.Pdf for Java 4.4.0 is used in same project
