Is it true that waking up 5:00 Am in the morninh[sic] is the best time to wake up?
That would really depend on a lot of factors. If I have to work from 4p to midnight, getting up at 5 is probably NOT a very good time. And if i have to be at work at 5:15, it's again not a very good time.
There are only two hard things in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-one errors
I'm a creature of habit. Weekdays, it's 5:30 every morning, to work before 7:30. On the weekends I might sleep in until 7:30 or 8:00. Then it's off to bed by 10:30.
The days of staying up until 1:00am on the computer are far behind me. I can actually remember nights when I stayed up so late I didn't realize what time it was until I heard the birds chirping outside. That was back during my BBS days. That's Bulletin Board System for you young whipper-snappers. It's something that existed long before the internet was available to the public.
"The good news about computers is that they do what you tell them to do. The bad news is that they do what you tell them to do." -- Ted Nelson
There's no one morning routine. I do as little as possible in the morning. I shower the night before. I don't exercise in the morning. Or at least, I don't call it that. I do walk from the subway to my office in the "not the most direct" way possible. I do eat breakfast every day.
