Hi guys! I am a B.Tech. with experience in iOS and Java. Today, In the day I got a phone call from an HR of a good US-based company which has niche products. He told about the requirement and interview process and scheduled a time and told I will get mail confirming this. There was no screening, question asked or any hiccup. But I didn't get any mail after that. I waited. It' strange. Why did he call and briefed me nicely at all.
Similarly, few weeks ago, an HR from another company called nicely and told I am forwarding your profile. I think my profile was matching and no reason for not getting an interview. Why do recruiters do this, any idea? HRs out here?

Yeah. This seems to be getting more and more common -- or at least a few years ago, when I was looking again. It could be because HR is overwhelmed these days, or it could be a broken process as candidates are passed around... Regardless, I don't think a reason would matter here. You just need to develop a thicker skin, and somewhat expect it. Sorry.
