Hi,

I have a query xml for which I have to write a DTO. The thing is I dont know anything about DTO( except that fact that it is an object for transportation of data to-fro from server to client) and rules to follow while creating it wrt a query.

I would be glad if someone can tell:

- Structure of a DTO.
- Components it should have
- Rules it should follow while defining it.

Thanks!

A DTO (data transfer object) is just a JavaBeans - fields, getters and setters. Queries are typically in a DAO. Maybe you mean that?
