Question about use of the Java EE plataform

Hello!

I'm reading the book OCEJWCD Study Companion by Charlens Lyons and a part of the chapter two says:

"JEE Plataform provide Web fron-end and business services..."

It would not be back-end in place of front-end?

Depends on application requirement and how you want to use.
