Hi guys. I hope someone here can help me with this problem. I am running Win7 32-bit. I was running Java 1.7 update 21 and everything worked great, applets ran in all my browsers. Then I updated to 1.7.25 and java stopped working in IE10. I tried lots of things - system restore failed, changed security settings to the lowest, checked java was enabled. I trawled the web looking for a fix and one suggestion was to revert to IE9 so I tried that but it didn't work for me. Is it possible to revert to 1.7.21 some how? Does anybody know a fix for this problem. Java still works in Chrome & FF but I'm used to IE. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I fixed it by running the update file jre-7u25-windows-i586.exe again.
Wish I'd thought of that sooner, I've spent hours trying to fix the darn thing.
Although during the installation a couple of odd messages appeared.

Does this mean I'll have a .NET problem somewhere down the line?

Your screenshots say Java 7 Update 17 instead of Update 25.
