Hello,
I am writing a plugin in Shell script and working on the XML wrapper.
I want to know if it is possible to ask for user input and then display it in the next parameter(on the GUI itself). Also, how can a date stamp be displayed on the xml?

To make myself clear,
suppose I give 4 options to the user as to how he would like his output file to be named. Two options have a user entered prefix and one has a date stamp at the end of the file.
When he selects any option, he gets to see how the name will look like.
Is there any way to do this?
I can't makeout how I can display the user entered prefix as the file name or how I can get the date stamp as one of the options.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
