Im having a hard time understanding instances and static methods as well as when to use them and why I should. Could anyone offer an explanation and small example on a scenerio I would need a method? Also can now explain to me if possible the benefits of classes and their mumbo jumbo.
Thanks

Tutorial: Learning the Java Language

I am not sure though whether the above tutorial covers the "mumbo jumbo" topic.

well the above link pretty much gave me the definition of what im looking for through Oracle which is pretty dull in my opinion since i've used that website a ton. I was actually looking for a personal individual to give me their personal perspective on the methods and their best function. I would really appreciate if you gave me an indepth explanation on when its the best to use them and what do they really mean. Thank you again

That's rather selfish, don't you think? There's a ton of information available, as you yourself observe, and yet you want somebody else to take a few hours of their time and write another tutorial specifically for you.

Thats not selfish and if you find it so then i strongly apologies for this action. I understand java in many different ways. There is just few stuff i tend to get lost in. I've seen books and tutorials but most seem to be written in such a proffesional format that might be a bit hard to understand. I do not want someone hard work, i myself have dealt into searching for information. The reason why im here is because i havent found what im looking for anywhere else. This is the last resource i have for java. Hopefully you understand, i dont want to get off on the wrong foot with anyone since my only purpose is to learn java not waste my time and argue with individuals i might not ever see in my existence (No Offense).
