I am using RF 4.3.1.
Need to validate the form on click of submit button. Form is available in (<f:view>) frames.

Popup window not appeared in IE 8, but displayed other than IE.
below are the code snippet.

Page 1

<div class="frameHeader">Header Form</div>
<div class="listOdd">
<a href="DisplayData.jsf" target="rightFrame" style = "text-decoration:none">Display Data</a><br></br>

Page 2

<td><h:commandButton type="submit" value="#{msg.disp}"
render="dataDisplay" />

<rich:popupPanel id="messagePanel" modal="true"
show="#{facesContext.maximumSeverity != null}">
<rich:messages />
<f:facet name="controls">
<h:outputLink value="#"
onclick="#{rich:component('messagePanel')}.hide(); return false;">
