What remote repository are you using? The missing parent POM is not in Maven Central. You need to find out which remote repository contains that parent POM and configure Maven to also use that repository (or configure your remote repository server to proxy that remote repository, exactly which you do depends on the answer to my question). Either that of if you have the parent POM in your possession, you can install in in your local repository.
