hey! actually i have a question. i need to know which togaf artifact can be modeled by uml? and how we can map togaf artifact to uml diagrams?

From the architectural artifacts list, many of the application architecture ones can use UML. The software engineering document and use case diagram were the first two I spotted.

There's not a one to one mapping though if that is what you are looking for.

ty, but which artifact can map to component diagram or sequence diagram or deployment diagram of uml?

The platform decomposition diagram could be implemented as a deployment diagram in UML. Or it could be implemented in PowerPoint or in any number of ways.

I don't think anything would map to a sequence diagram in UML. It's too low level to be architecture. I consider a sequence diagram to be design.
