Hi,

I have a requirement, where, I have a dtd xml, and want to convert that xml file into different xml file with different dtd. Please suggest, how it can be achieved?
For e.g.
convert

<item name="test">
<prop name="prop1" derived="prop2">
</item>

to

<entity name="test">
<property name="prop1">
<property name="prop2">
</entity>

Both xmls have different dtds, How may I achieve this? Is there any tool, I may use to ease my work. Please help.

Regards,
Isha Saini

The usual way to transform XML into some other XML would be to use XSLT (XSL Transformations). That either XML conforms to some DTD really doesn't figure into it.
