python dependencies for jython (maven?)

Hello! My first post here,

So I am working on an existing Java project, and have found the best tool for what I want to do is written in Python. My plan is to use Jython to connect to my python scripts via PythonInterpreter.java. Including the jython jar is easy through the Maven dependency management system, but I am having difficulty figuring out how to enable Jython to recognize the Python tool as a dependency as well. Should I be able to include the Python library via Maven, or do I have to set it up via a Jython runtime path variable?

Thanks,

Patrick

Welcome to JavaRanch, Patrick!

Afraid I don't use Jython myself, but have you tried the online Jython docs? e.g. http://www.jython.org/jythonbook/en/1.0/ModulesPackages.html#python-modules-and-packages-versus-java-packages

Hopefully somebody who knows more about Jython will be along to help you soon.

No more Blub for me, thank you, Vicar.
