Hibernate - DB2 Problem with polish chars

I'm developing a web application which use hibernate to manage DB2 conection.
The problem is that, when I run a local server (JBoss) on my windows xp (polish language version) polish chars are properly saved and read to/from database. But when I run server on a windows server 2003 (english language version) polish chars are read properly but saved as some two chars trash.
Charset is set everywhere to UTF-8.
Is it because of english version of windows server? How can I fix it?

Problem solved. It was jboss configuration fault.
