in my assignment i have usecases.But due to various reasons like performance,fucntioanal i have to split the use case in to multiple sequence diagrams.Is that fine?Overall all the use case
has been taken care with my sequence diagram.

This is what I did, too. I haven't submitted my assignment yet, but I see no problem with doing this.
