I have a apache server running on port 80 & a webapp deployed on tomcat 7 running on port 8080 (both on same centOS). I have a domain registered(say www.xyz.com which is pointing to ip). My requirement is when user enters www.xyz.com it should show a page deployed under tomcats webapp (also should be able to login, navigate throughout etc.). For this I have done following in Apache's httpd conf:-

Problem is when I hit www.xyz.com on the browser, it shows expected home page. But when I do login, instead of showing landing page it says- HTTP Status 500 - Session has expired And browser changes url to http://www.xyz.com/webapp/index.iface

Do you have any idea? Thanks in advance!
