Hi all,
I have just won the OCPJP 7 exam Simulator! Thanks to all the coderanch community! I am super happy about it!
I have a question related to what to do afterwards.
As mentioned in the "*Winners" post by Mohamed Sanaulla, I should be giving these following info:

Please send your snail mail address to bookpromotion AT javaranch DOT com. To ensure the quickest response, please provide the following:

Your name (first and last - preferably the one you use on Javaranch)
Address (including country)
Phone Number
Email
Choice of either "OCPJP 7 Exam Simulator" or "OCPJP 7 Upgrade Exam Simulator".

As it's a software product, and it's not going to be sent via mail but via email, I guess it's a matter of license key as it's a web-based software, I was wondering if it is possible to omit the field Address.
And what about the telephone number? is that mandatory?

Recaping I need to send the following:
Name: mandatory;
email: mandatory;
Address:?;
Telephone number: ?;

One last question: Once all the data have been communicated how do you deliver the licences? Do you wait for all winners to send info and then you send in bulk the data to the publisher that then will send in bulk the licenses to the winners? Or there might be a quicker way?
Thanks in advance, it's just that I have the exam around the 15 of August and would be nice to try the simulator before the exam

I'm not generally involved with the promotions, but I'll give it a shot. I think address and phone number will indeed not be necessary for electronic items. The winners are sent in bulk to the publisher after everyone has sent their information. I suppose you could try hassling the other winners into sending their info soon, but we can't make guarantees how quickly the publisher will act on that.

I lead the promo team so I can speak for us .

Ideally, we just ask for name and email in a software promo. Sometimes the template isn't changed and you get the request for more. Don't worry about it.

Normally, we collect all the winner info and send it in at once. If you include the note about taking the exam soon in your email, I can request yours sooner. I don't want to do this all the time as it is extra tracking on my part, but I will this time.

Very Kind of you indeed Jeanne,
I'll send the email straight away.
Thanks for understanding!
