Hello!

I thought it would be great for me and others to subscribe to topics whose title contain one or two words.
Of course words should be specified by me.
Subscribe means receive email notification when such topic is posted.
For instance :
I am subscribed to topics whose title contain either ArrayList or LinkedList or HashMap.
So when posted topic's title contains one of those words, I receive email and quickly respond to question.

I don't see such option now but it would be cool to have.

Thanks!

We don't have such a feature and haven't heard of such a feature in any other place. Personally, I don't think it's worth the effort.

Hello!

In stackoverflow there is option to subscribe to posts that contain special tags.
When question with such tag is posted you are notified by email.

JavaRanch does not have tags. That's why I proposed to use topic's title.

You may consider include tags in new topics. And when question with specific tag is posted I am notified via email.
Isn't it good option?
Of course, it is.

Yes, it does look relevant with tags but like you say we don't have tags here. If we do implement the tags functionality then yes, I think it would be worth adding the "watch certain tags" feature.
