How come JFXPanel doesn't show up?

Why
findCustomerPanel = new findCustomerPanel();
displays nothing

Well, the new panel isn't added to any visible component hierarchy, so where should it display? JFXPanel isn't a top level window.

Ah, you just refreshed my memory, it should be JFrame, thanks
got it working now

Now I am working on this one, the problem I am having is I can't add JFXPanel to Group, should be a JavaFX question....

No, you can't add a JFXPanel to a Group. JFXPanel doesn't extend Node.
