First of all, this is not my blog. But it is an excellent, gentle introduction into the world of functional programming. Reminded me of my old Prolog days.

Here is the gem: List Out of Lambda.

By the way, I haven't ever used JavaScript. Until now I've thought it is an ugly, low-level, VB-like language whose main purpose is to maximize the software maintenance's share of the world GDP. But it is actually a functional language! Why am I not coding in JavaScript yet?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
