Please explain what you are asking for in complete sentences. It's not clear what you are trying to accomplish.

iam having a form with two text fields in html page which are submitted to a jsp page. in that jsp i can retrieve the values using "request.getParameter("name")" but i want to do it by using jstl please help

Do you have a reference for the EL? There is a builtin scoped variable that gives you access to the submitted parameters.

Remember, you never do anything just in JSTL; the JSTL and EL are meant to work together.

i didnt go through any EL can you please share me any reference site
