to fetch response using AJAX on button click is it to be done the same with Struts2 as in Struts1?
posted 2 years ago
I am doing a simple example on AJAX, Jquery and Struts. On clicking a button it should show hello appended by name (entered from textbox) as response. It is like hello world example. I know how to do this using Struts 1. Now I want to do this using struts 2. I have below doubt:
- Do I have to do this using Jquery,AJAX in the same way in Struts 2 as I would have done in Struts1?
- Does it have to be done is any different way as Struts 2 provides support for AJAX,Jquery? ( I know struts 2 provides AJAX support but for this example I do not think it should be useful. For this example coding should be done same way as in Struts 1. Am I correct or wrong?
