Hi,

I came around this documentation

New Technologies is like the sea where the surface water moves very rapidly but the deep water is relatively calm and concentrated and most of the aqua lives survive here. So, feel yourself in that deep water and close to core technologies

http://java.dzone.com/articles/10-effective-ways-become-good

So to understand the Spring framework shall i start reading Head First JSP and servlets or directly Spring in Action... I feel I know some aspects of JSP and Servlets but not that expert in that..also some aspects about Spring framework(MVC, bean mapping in xml) and some jquery.

Please advice how it will help me to be a better programmer in servlets, jsp....

An understanding of servlets and filters will be needed in order to work with Spring.

It depends what you want to use/learn as Spring has so many facets to it - Roo, Data, MVC, Web Services, Integration.

It is always good to gain an understanding of the core libraries that Spring shields you from. If you are new to Java EE then definitely start with the Head First book.

Go with the Head First book to gain a broader understanding of Java EE.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
