How to reply to this in a smarter way

Hi all,

In an interview, the first question asked is: "Tell me something about yourself / Introduce yourself". For an experienced professional, how to reply this in a compact and smarter way?

What I used to reply on this is: My name, My Native, My designation in present org, working technologies and the client name for whom I have been working.

Kindly let me know what else should be added or replace from what I mentioned above.

Regards,
Anthony

It looks fine to me. I'd include a note on the most technically challenging system you've worked on just to beat your drum a little (although not pompously ).

You can also mention that you are active on communities like CR and mention open source projects you work on (if that applies).

That question usually looks for a 2-3 minutes answer. I generally mention what and where I studied, what were the major work situations I was in since then, and what did I do in each one. Also pertinent information like: I've lived in country D for E years, so I'm familiar with the business culture and language, I'm running the F open source project, and the G app in some app store or other is also by me.
