It's an intelligence test, right? If you can't read almost-
HTML, you shouldn't be here?
Only joking, however you should be aware that everything
except the title of your home page appears as comments on
the browser I'm currently using (NS3.01/Win 95). The usual
recommendation is to use '-->' as an end-comment marker rather than just '>'.
Otherwise looks like an interesting site. Hope it hots up.
Frank.

Doh!
I knew that. Really. I did.
How does it look now?

Well, it's visible and it works...
It looks a little dull, though. Perhaps it's
just because I'm used to more "in your face"
BB sites (eg. http://forums.matroxusers.com/)
which have a collection of news, links,
comment etc. on the front page.
I'm just rambling really. It won't stop me
using this site, whatever the front page is like.
Frank.

I intend to add more stuff to the bottom (links mostly), put the top part should remain as boring as it is now.

Frank, perhaps you should check out the JavaLobby site (www.javalobby.org), but it is much slower and less convenient to read as a threaded discussion. However, it does have the cool links and what not.
How bout an FAQ on E Porkchop?
1. How come the forums on the front page don't sort like the individual ones seem to (most recently posted is at top).
2. What does the pink and yellow mean?
3. What is the difference between a folder and a light bulb?
4. What the hell is this site? (j/k -- sort of)
5. Why is it called eporkchop?
I'm really good at asking questions. I could probably write your whole FAQ -- but you'd have to supply the answers. . .

1) The individual messages are part of a thread. You read the thread from top to bottom. The thread listing is sorted by most recent first since each thread is not necessarily related to the other.
2) Pink is the porkchop flesh and yellow is the spazzy thing that represents the glow of a superhero. Or do you mean the folders?
3) Lightbulbs show if there is something new in that forum for you or not. folders show if there is a new thread or not.
4) What sort of answer did you have in mind? Why is it here?
5) Why not? The internic will let you have any name you want as long as someone else doesn't already have it. Selection starts to become thin. I tried to think of a name that was not some sick coffee spin, but a name that *I* really liked.
